The Haas Fund is different from other philanthropic funds Berkeley receives.
It's used for the things we need most right now.
FOR EXAMPLE:
If we've already awarded all our scholarships, the Haas Fund lets us offer one more promising student a scholarship.
If the economic climate causes summer internship opportunities to plummet, flexible Haas Fund dollars can be mobilized to provide internship stipends and work study opportunities for our students.
When Haasies Question the Status Quo with new programs, initiatives, and events, the Haas Fund is there to turn ideas into action.
